Step inside Winthrop Men’s Soccer and discover what it takes to become an Eagle. Our one-day ID camp gives ambitious players the opportunity to train with NCAA coaches, showcase their ability, and experience the Winthrop Way firsthand.
Through our program presentation, we’ll share the Winthrop game model: a proactive, high-energy style built on aggressive pressing, quick combinations, and purposeful attacking play. We’ll explain how we train, what we expect, and how different positions contribute to our approach.
Our recruitment discussion will take you beyond general college soccer advice and into how we recruit at Winthrop. Learn what catches our attention, how we evaluate players, and why playing style, decision-making, work ethic, coachability, and character all matter when identifying the right fit for our program.
With a facility tour, two field sessions, and 11 v 11 play under the lights on Eagle Field, this is your opportunity to show us what you can bring, and discover whether Winthrop is the right place for your next chapter.
